The tractor pull, on March 8 at Bullarto Hall and Railway Grounds, will feature a vintage parade and demonstrations.
Sheep shearing and log chopping remain highlights, as well as a mobile phone throwing competition and music from the Daylesford Community Brass and Pipe bands.
At night the Bullarto Bush Dance will bring old-time traditions back to the town.
Bullarto Primary School students will teach guests the way to bush dance, while also performing their own song and dance throughout the night.
Performance and environmental teacher Bruce Rolfe said children had been learning the moves all year and were proud to show off their skills.
"We started the dance in 2003, when the general store closed down and we needed something else for our town," he said.
"This way Bullarto is a place to come - and everyone loves bush dancing, especially the children."
The bush dance will be held from 7pm at the Bullarto Hall, with a sausage sizzle beforehand.
