A shopping-trolley full of mystery gifts, organised by the students themselves, will be given to vulnerable children.
Teacher Trudy Blick, who runs the program, said so often children got caught up with the wanting associated with Christmas, while forgetting the true meaning.
"Our students really do love giving - and this helps them to do that," she said.
"They're making other children much happier, which is what this time of year is all about."
Daylesford Child and Family Services Rae Hough said the students will never know the true value of their gift.
"We have people who are displaced from their home on Christmas Eve," she said.
"Some people are really struggling but we really do have a generous community here that make things like this possible."
Ms Hough said the gifts would be distributed fairly to those genuinely in need.
