13 award-winning authors and illustrators will visit the show, which will take people back in time to the early 1900s.
There's a Hippopotumus on our Roof Eating Cake author Hazel Edwards and Sherryl Clark, who wrote Littlest Pirate and Our Australian Girl series, will headline the festival, with children also able to learn to draw with Craig Smith and Ann James.
Another hit will be visits from lost trade artisans, including a toy maker, penny-farthing mechanic, paper marbler, weaver, shoemaker and a saddler.
The jam-packed day will include more than 30 talks and workshops, as well as face painting, music, fairy floss, storytelling and a book swap.
Children can also explore The Children’s Village of Lost Trades and an exhibition featuring fascinating illustrations.
Discounted tickets to the festival, on November 1 from 10.30am to 4.30pm, are available online until Thursday, October 30.
A single festival pass per person is $20 per person or $70 for a family pass covering four people. Children four years and younger will be admitted free.
Tickets will also be available at the gate on the day. The full program and tickets are available at www.clunesbooktown.com.au
