My experience is far from bad. When my wife had her heart attack, the ambulance arrived at our home before our neighbour approximately 500 metres away arrived.
I had called our neighbour seeking aspirin on the request of the 000 dispatch team.
Then there was my suspected heart attack. The ambulance was very prompt in arriving.
On two other occasions a friend was staying over and had heart attack symptoms.
The ambulance response time on both occasions was extremely acceptable.
So, with four urgent personal calls, the ambulance service was quite acceptable.
