The small town, like so many others across the state, relies on its hall for annual functions and community gatherings.
Now the facility will feature a brand new kitchen and all-access toilets, which will open up future possibilities.
Lyonville Hall Committee member Jackie Airey said the grant would allow for weddings and larger events to be held at the hall.
"This really is our community hub and this will mean so much for our town," she said.
The group will host a function on November 1, to celebrate the $90,000 milestone renovation.
"We just wanted to invite all of the people who made this possible to a party to thank them for their hard work," Ms Airey said.
"It's a family event and we would like as many people to come and be a part of the joy."
The event, held from 7pm onwards, is open to everyone and will feature a DJ, nibbles and Mikelangelo as MC.
