Learmonth defeated netball powerhouse Dunnstown in the Central Highlands Netball League’s A-grade semi-final at the weekend.
Having lost its first final to Springbank in the opening week of the finals, Learmonth made sure of it preliminary final berth with a 36 to 22 goal win.
Hepburn, which won its qualifying final, earned the right to have the weekend off.
The two teams will now meet at 2.30pm on Sunday at Dunnstown.
Springbank will also play Skipton in the other preliminary final on Saturday.
The Hepburn B-grade team will be in action on Sunday when it takes on Springbank at 1.30pm.
Hepburn’s C-grade team will also get a chance to continue its finals run with a preliminary final berth against Waubra on Saturday.
The game will be played at Learmonth at 12.30pm.
In the 13-and-under first preliminary final, Creswick will take on Buninyong after the Wickers defeated Carngham 26 to 13 at the weekend.
In the second preliminary final Hepburn will take on Newlyn.
The Cats defeated Gordon by just two goals, the final score was 22 to 20 in the semi-final.
Their under-15 team had a win, defeating Clunes 28 to 7.
Newlyn will now play Bungaree in the second preliminary final on Sunday.
Creswick fell short in the 17-and-under second semi-final, losing to Gordon 19 to 17.
