The project was commissioned and endorsed by the council in 2013 following recommendations from the Public Art Panel to council.
Hepburn Shire Mayor Don Henderson said this was an announcement that would provide benefits for locals and visitors alike.
‘‘The addition of this artwork to the town hall laneway will provide a great talking point,’’ Cr Henderson said.
‘‘Council is pleased to provide this opportunity to Paul and Jhana and we (council) will be pleased to see this project come to life.’’
The project will feature sculptures constructed from reclaimed industrial timber and antique furniture, and feature plants and collected items that reference iconic historic objects and the natural environment of Daylesford.
Both Paul James Kalemba and Jhana Pfeiffer-Hunt have completed a number of public sculpture commissions.
The commissioned artwork will be installed from mid January to March 2015.
