Llewellyn has been an active PGA Professional for 53 years and continues to be a great ambassador for the PGA and the game of golf.

Born and bred in Daylesford, Llewellyn is a proud Victorian who has been instrumental in the promotion of the game throughout country Victoria, Australia and around the world.

“I have been lucky enough to play alongside some of Australia’s greatest players such as Thomson, Von Nida and Nagle. I am so proud to be joining some of my good friends and peers in the Victorian Golf Hall of Fame,” Llewellyn said.

“I thank you for nominating me and I intend to keep on teaching and playing this great game for many more years to come,” he said.

Llewellyn has coached a full sphere of golfers from juniors through to tournament champions and has played an influential role in the development of many PGA professionals in Australia and abroad.

He remembers the days when he toured western Victoria providing golf lessons to regions that had no access to a PGA professional. Now residing in China for eight months of the year, Llewellyn has built a high profile in the booming golf region.

Considered a golfing legend in Asia, Llewellyn is the current coach of Indian professional champions Daniel Chopra and Jyoti Randhawa and China’s Liang Wen Chong.

At different times over the past 20 years, he has been the national coach and trainer for India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Bhutan, and was the first tour coach in Asia.

Throughout his life long career, Llewellyn has constantly sought knowledge to perfect his coaching, which has seen him circle the globe to consult with legends of the game.

Llewellyn is also a life member of the Bhutan PGA and master professional with the Asian PGA.

In 2003, he won the Victorian PGA Coach of the Year Award.
