The two teams, who have had mixed results this season, competed not only for four points but bragging rights as well.
In the end, Hepburn was too strong, scoring an emphatic win against Daylesford.
The final score was 68 to 24.
Hepburn has now won seven games and lost two in the Central Highlands Netball League.
At the halfway point of the season, Hepburn sits in fifth position, a game outside the top four, and has a big percentage of 211 per cent.
Daylesford has managed to score just one win from its nine matches in 2014.
Meanwhile, Creswick kept its finals chances alive after scoring its biggest win of the season.
The Wickers took on the winless Smythesdale in its round nine game and won 62 to 21.
The big win has put Creswick into 10th place, only by percentage, on the ladder.
It is a tight race between seventh and 10th position.
The four teams – Ballan, Bungaree, Buninyong and Creswick – have all won five games and lost four.
