Mr Helper recently embarked on a 1000-kilometre road trip around the Ripon electorate to inspect the state of roads.
Mr Helper said while some roads were in good repair, many had not received the maintenance they needed as promised by the current government in before the last election.
"We all know that good roads are so important in the country," Mr Helper said.
"Considering my colleagues promised to fix absolutely everything prior to the last election, I would have thought that keeping our roads in a reasonable condition would have been a high priority.
"What I have experienced during my recent 'Ripon Road Blitz' is that clearly the government has failed in this task."
Residents are urged to contact Mr Helper about sub-standard roads.
"I would like to hear from people in the wider Ripon electorate," he said.
People wanting to report roads in disrepair should contact Mr Helper's office on 54611255 or visit the state Opposition's roads website www.FixOurRoads.com.au
