Bushwalking
LAST Friday was a perfect autumn morning for a large group of walkers who headed off from the Wombat Station pavilion to walk along the Great Dividing Trail to Barkstead.
They returned via the former Daylesford to Creswick railway line along which they explored an old tunnel built under the line.
On Friday the walk, graded medium, will have a more local feel taking in the two lakes and gardens. All are welcome to join us in our walks, although a reasonable level of fitness is required. Please wear suitable clothing, sturdy footwear and carry a drink and snack for morning tea. Walks leave from Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre at 9 am every Friday.
