Choppers, with Chris Tsiplakis setting the ball superbly to his spikers, fought tooth and nail for every point and clawed their way back to win the set 25/22. In the second set, Choppers spikers Jarrod Collings and Grant Boyd displayed power hitting that left the spectators in shock
as they had rarely spiked with such venom and accuracy. Led by Joel Hine's amazing dives and ball retrievals Choppers only just managed to win the set 25/23.
With Mark Dineen asserting his authority on the net by blocking out the opposition and hampering the great play of James Dolpin in the back court, District United went on to win the third set 25/22. The fourth set erupted with Florian Holfinger retrieving ball after ball and setting
up his spikers to thump the ball into the opposition court.
