THE highlight match was in A Grade with St Augustines getting up over Kingston Blue by just four games.
The men of St Augustines had the upper hand over their opponents taking two out of the three men's sets.
This was due to the solid form of Daniel Paxton taking his both men's sets.
The Kingston Blue women were determined to get back into the match taking two of the three women's sets, mainly due to the solid play of Donna Griffin.
In the first mixed Kingston Blues Josh Kennedy and Griffin had a handy 7-5 win to tie things up with just two mixed sets remaining.
However, St Augustines' mixed combination of Russel Edwards and Carol Slade won 6-4 to give them a two game lead going into the final mixed set. Lisa Benny and Paxton secured the last set winning 6-4 to give Saints a four-game win.
In A1 the consistent form of Creswick's Andrew and Jason Preston proved the difference with a close win over Mt Prospect.
