Rain washes out play in Daylesford district cricket matches

RAIN interfered with play in Daylesford district cricket on Saturday.

The games between Colts and Trentham, as well Blackwood versus Korweinguboora, were abandoned due to rain, both games ending in a draw.

There were no results from the Hepburn versus Newlyn game.

Daylesford under-16s made 5/153 against Trentham.

The runs were made by Andrew Brown 14, Brayden Slater 35, Sebastian Walsh 37no and Tom Conroy 26no.

The final series begins next weekend with games to be played between Newlyn v Hepburn and Korweinguboora v Colts on Saturday and Sunday.
