THE match of the round in the Mt Prospect Tennis Association Porters Industries Corporate Challenge was between Sebastopol Motor Wreckers and Eureka Concrete with the Motor Wreckers taking the match by just one game.
Trevor New and Simon of the Motor Wreckers got off to a solid start taking the first set 9-5.
Steven Frost and Luke Beaston of Eureka Concrete fought back to win the second set in a tie break.
The third men's saw yet another tie break but this time going in favour of the Motor Wreckers.
This set them up with a four game lead with one set remaining.
Eureka Concretes Justin McGrath and Luke Beaston had a good 9-6 win in the final set but it wasn't enough with The Motor Wreckers being victors by one game.
In other men's matches Trident Group showed good form to defeat Powercor, Gull and Co were victors over the Commonwealth Bank and WHK proved too good for Ballarat Ag.
In the mixed competition Roche Bricklaying showed solid form to defeat VCTA, Porter Plant were too good for Steelchief in a close one, Rokk 66 defeated Prime/Holden and Creswick Post Office were too good for CECC.
