Two visitors from Ballarat cleaned up the locals at the Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club on Saturday.
In Section 1, Martin Hale's shot selection and courtcraft gave him a 22/14 win over his mate Ray Beacham 19/14, who sliced and diced like the Kitchen Magician. Brian Nolan, who invited the visitors over, was third with 22/22.
In Section 2, Gabe Kirby showed the way with 19/12 ahead of John Turnbull with 17/14.
Tennis continues each Saturday, when visitors are welcome to join the competition. The club endeavours to cater for beginners and those getting back into tennis after a break by offering a social group in which to build skills.
