CRESWICK claimed the match of the round in Mt Prospect Tennis Association A1, beating Dean by just eight games.

The men of Dean had the upper hand over their opponents with Chris McKay being the stand out showing good form winning both his sets.

Creswick's Drew Coote made it tough work for Dean, taking five games off them in both his sets.

The Dean women were determined to fight their way back into the match to take all three of the ladies' sets.

Erin Brennan was the standout for Dean winning her sets convincingly.

Going into the third mixed, Creswick was in control by six games.

Coote and Brennan finished Dean off with a handy 8-6 win, which got their team over the line by eight games.
