HUME came out of the Daylesford Secondary College's annual swimming sports day as champions last Tuesday in perfect conditions.
The weather was fantastic and an enjoyable day was had by all, with an impressive amount of students putting in huge amounts of effort for their school and sporting house.
The final scores were very close with Flinders and Hume battling for the glory, however, at the end of the day Hume was victorious, winning by just 32 points.
Matt Barton of Sturt broke the only record of the day, a record that has been standing for 16 years _ the 14 and under breaststroke with a time of 43.45 seconds.
It was very pleasing to see a large number of family and friends attend the day to support students in events.
