DON'T mess with Sharie-Lee Olver.
The Daylesford youngster gained her probationary black belt at a tae kwon do black belt grading held recently in Ballarat.
Olver, 10, started her tae kwon do training with Sharon Morrison in Daylesford three years ago and since then has competed in three regional competitions winning two gold, one silver and one bronze for patterns along with one gold, one silver and one bronze for sparring.
She also competed at state level in 2006 and 2007, gaining a silver in sparring before going on to represent Victoria at the National Tae Kwon Do Championships in Adelaide last year, where she gained a bronze for sparring.
Olver trains in Daylesford with Sharon and Shane Morrison at Daylesford Primary School during the week and at Trainors Black Belt Academy in Ballarat on weekends.
