TRENTHAM Football/Netball club is back in full swing for season 2010 and is very keen on becoming a dominant force in the Maryborough-Castlemaine Football netball league once again.
Pre-season football training began on Wednesday, November 11, at the Trentham Recreation Reserve and will continue every Wednesday until Christmas.
Shane Thompson continues as senior coach for season 2010 and has been very active on the recruiting front.
The club has already signed seven new players and is currently negotiating with another eight.
The club welcomes Rick McConville as coach of the reserves for the upcoming season.
Rick has a lot of experience and a wealth of knowledge to help the young Saints out.
The club is currently still looking for a coach for the under-17 footballers, but have a worthy assistant coach in Owen Sundblom on board.
On the netball court Tammy McKenzie has been appointed coach and manager of the senior girls, who are very excited about fielding a full contingent of teams.
There will be a netball meeting on Wednesday, November 25, at 6pm. Interested girls (current and new players) are invited to attend.
The club invites any new football and netball players to come down to the club as it is seeking players of all age groups and skill levels.
