THE Smeaton Bowling Club has held its presentation night.
Club president Bill May welcomed guests, who included DLBA junior vice-president Julie Nimms and secretary Maxine Rousch, and BRBA junior vice-president Kevin Lafranchi and vice-president David Beardsley.
Mr May reflected on the past season, made mention of the strong membership and congratulated Ian Pickering on the excellent greens.
Ms Nimms, on behalf of the DLBA congratulated the club for a successful year and presented the ladies' trophies.
Ladies' club champion was E. Slater with runner-up L. Taylor.
Minor champion was J. Lindsay with runner-up V. Rumler.
H. Mizzeni was 100-up, with runner-up L. Taylor.
Club pairs were R. Shaw and S. Prendergast with runners-up L. Cosgrave and J. Lafranchi.
Set play were L. Taylor with runner-up H. Mizzeni.
Charity Day winners were S. Phyland, J. Lindsay, C. McKay and J. Toose.
Ms Nimms presented certificates to M. Rousch, E. Cosgrave, J. Lafranchi and J. Toose for Courier Associated Fours as winners.
Certificate winner of District Title over-60s was L. Taylor.
Mr Beardsley congratulated the club's success in all areas and presented the men's trophies.
Men's Club Champion was R. Cawthorn with runner-up B. Seamons. Minor champion was B. Janetski with runner-up G. Douglas.
S. Pickering was 100-up with runner-up J. Taylor.
Two bowl championship was J. Taylor with runner-up S. Slater.
Club pairs were T. Rumler and J. Taylor with runner-up R. Leishman and G. Douglas.
Indoor Men's Champion was G. May with runner-up C. Toose.
Presentation of eight pins went to S. Richards, S. Slater, J. Slater and T.Middlemis.
