CRESWICK is only one week away from the biggest golf tournament to be hosted in regional Victoria.
Head professional golfer at the Novotel Forest Resort in Creswick, Ben Roberts, said the resort wanted locals to be part of an exciting week of golf and functions.
"Our championship dinner will be held on February 16. There will be a number of championship players attending the event, with two international pro guest speakers. We have also confirmed Matt Hollywood as the entertainment for the night," he said.
"Our Corporate Pro-AM event is on February 15 with everyone welcome. There are morning and afternoon tee times.
"Playing with one of the top 50 tour players will be a thrill, along with getting to play the course in championship condition."
He said a corporate marquee would be set up at the 18th hole from February 16 to February 19.
