Persistent but welcome rain caused the abandonment of Friday's four-person ambrose but all other events were completed despite the conditions.

Wednesday, September 23 - Two-person Ambrose. Handicap men's - Alan Jones/Kevin Robinson (Ballarat) nett 60.

Scratch men - Shane Nevill/Charlie Robertson.

Handicap veterans - Kevin Gilchrist/Tom Pedretti.

On Friday, September 25, the Men's and Mixed Ambrose was abandoned due to flooded greens. It has been rescheduled to Sunday, November 29.

On Saturday, September 26 it was Men's Day.

Spa Classic 36-holes scratch - winner Barry Jenner 70-71-141, runner-up Shane Nevill 72-74-146.

Challenge Cup 36-holes nett - winner Wayne Mobbs 64-68-132 with runner-up Kevin Gilchrist 74-70-144.

AM 18-holes scratch was Tom Pedretti with PM 18-holes scratch Murray Young.

AM 18-holes handicap A grade was Phil Tomal (Westgate) with AM 18-holes handicap B grade to Daniel Staples (Mt. Xavier).

The PM 18-holes scratch A grade was Ian Rodgers with PM 18-holes scratch B grade to Brandan Johnson.

On Sunday, September 27 we had the Golden Putter 4BBB Par. Women's 4BBB stableford Golden Putter: 1st Ian Rodgers/Darren McColl +9. 2nd Barry Jenner/Simon Milton +7 3rd Wayne Mobbs/Noel Bull +6.

Women's 4B stableford. 1st Judy G (Talbot)/Pam Jones (Anglesea) 40 pts. 2nd Pauline Hammett/Jill Emerson (Anglesea) 38pts.
