Taekwondo success

19 Dec, 2006 11:20 AM
DAYLESFORD Taekwondo Club concluded a very successful year with a grading for junior members.

Students were tested on a broad range of taekwondo skills including street safe self-defence and Olympic sparring skills.

The excellence award was won by Sharie-Lee Olver, centre with trophy, who has enjoyed a successful year of taekwondo.

The test was conducted by internationally accredited examiner and master instructor Russell Trainor, pictured, who has a fifth degree black belt. Also pictured, back right, is assistant coach Katelyn Bugden.

The Daylesford Taekwondo Club trains at the Daylesford Primary school every Tuesday and Thursday. New members are most welcome.
