Amid the cold temperature, gusting wind and drizzling rain, the Tigers and Falcons were eager to launch into their final battle.

Falcons' Teck Yong performed brilliantly as he won two singles.

Peter Francis was unable to win a rubber for the team, but redeemed the night by winning the doubles with Yong.

Tigers Arlene Verplak and Eric Jarlaud both won one singles match.

Considering that the Tigers had won all matches for the whole season, they were the favourite team to win. But alas, the Falcons soar away with the title as we see them running off with the doubles.

So ends the season for table tennis in Daylesford. Next winter season will commence in April 2008.
