DAYLESFORD table tennis players Teck Khee Yong and Arlene Verplak won the D-grade doubles at the 2007 Inaugural Bendigo Veterans Table Tennis Tournament last Sunday.
Verplak also made it to the finals of the D-grade singles, but lost to the defensive chopping style of Tony Doyle from Melbourne.
Bendigo Table Tennis Association president Gary Warnest was very pleased with 96 players who competed in the tournament from all over Victoria and South Australia.
The Daylesford Table Tennis winter pennant season starts on Wednesday, April 25.
A one-off round robin format will be held at 7.30pm tonight at the Table Tennis Club at Victoria Park. All welcome.
