THE Daylesford and Hepburn United Soccer Club's Best and Fairest count was awarded to talented midfielder Hiroshi Masuda, with young gun Zoran Drogriski a close second.
The count was decided by only one vote, with Dragi Koleski and Dylan Nulty a close third and showing there is shared talent at the club at the moment.
Hiroshi Masuda had an excellent year with the Saints and all of his hard work and persistence was rewarded with the big prize.
Masuda was also awarded the best-on -ground in the grand final award and scored some crucial goals throughout the season.
Sam Behrens was awarded the leading scorer, who had another good year from all angles, even the tightest of angles.
Behrens will be a growing asset in 2012 and will surely go on to improve his conversion rate and speedy injury recovery without four Redbulls.
Paulo DaSilva also scored many goals and came in second in the goal count, and will bring some flair and unique style to every game.
The most improved award went to the unique and eclectic giraffe, Jayden Allen, who scored crucial goals in each final match.
Damien Ryan was a close second in the most improved, while young trickster Vasco Drogriski scored the coach's award for his dedication, poise and fashion style.
The Saints have had a fantastic season in 2011, finishing top of the Division Two League, but big challenges await.
It is likely the team will be promoted to the top league BDSA Division, the Premiere League, in 2012.
