WITH a bye this past weekend, the Daylesford Saints look forward to key players returning from injury and suspension.
Dylan Nulty has returned after a long rest with a triple bypass in the lower leg, while Daniel Trotter is returning to the Saints after a brief stink with the Brussels F.C reserves, and Laurie Nulty resumes after being suspended for foul language.
The Saints take on fourth-placed North United White this week in a must win game if it is to keep its title hopes alive. Nick Jansen will return to goals while Neil Sweeper will hopefully be signing up during the week, to play the experienced defender role.
The game is at 1pm at Russell Square.
Creswick under-15
THE Creswick Cougar under-15 team has had a resounding 7-1 win over the Warrnambool Rangers.
The result could not have been a more convincing statement by the finals-bound Cougars.
