Under-18 Daylesford Bulldogs trounce Dunnstown

27 Apr, 2010 11:50 AM
THE under-18 Daylesford Bulldogs in blustery conditions came up against a tough Dunnstown side.

Dunnstown disrupted the Bulldogs' free-flowing play, particularly in the third quarter where they kicked four in a row to come within a goal of Daylesford.

In the final quarter, the Bulldogs steadied to come away with a good win. While Sebastian Walsh dominated in the air and Patrick Murray relished the contest, it was the smaller brigade in Marcus Elderfield and Spencer Alexander showing blistering pace who created the run.

Score: Daylesford 12.16.88 def Dunnstown 8.3. 51

Goals:T. Cooper 3, W. Parentich 2, Walsh 2, A. Mill 1, S. E. Nettleton 1, T. Courtney 1, P. Murray 1, M. Elderfield 1. Best: S. Walsh, P Murray, M. Elderfield, J Browne, S Alexander, T Cooper.
