Hepburn Football Club to stick with Shane Robertson in 2010

03 Nov, 2009 11:54 AM
HEPBURN has announced the reappointment of senior coach Shane Robertson for the 2010 season.

A three-time premiership coach with the Central Highlands club, Robertson will continue at the helm for his seventh consecutive year.

The Burras were mere seconds from winning last season's grand final, denied by Daylesford with the last kick of the game.

Hepburn's football manager Jason Olver said reappointing Robertson was the first step in rectifying that result.

"We are desperate to go one better next season and have been extremely busy on the recruitment front," Oliver said.

New recruits are expected to be announced when the club begins training on Wednesday, November 11.

Matt Peake is one player who will not be returning, the midfielder will play for Campbells Creek in the Maryborough-Castlemaine league next season.
