BLAMPIED'S Renee Pedretti has won gold at the Tri Nation Equestrian Championships for dressage in South Africa.
Pedretti won the event from a field of leading dressage riders from New Zealand, South Africa and Australia.
Pedretti, 26, partnered New South Wales rider Nick Fyfe to win the competition.
Pedretti was inducted into Daylesford Secondary College's Hall of Fame in 2005 for her equestrian achievements.
She is now based at Macedon, where she runs a dressage training centre.
South African horses were borrowed for the competition.
Renee plans to enter next year's event to be held in New Zealand.
