Slater nabs four, Korweinguboora in control against Trentham

KORWEINGUBOORA has first innings points against Trentham, which was bowled out for 91 runs. Only Adam Prewett stood out with 25 not out. Troy Slater had the figures of 4-30. Korweinguboora is 8-154 at stumps.

Corey Slater got 56 and Dennis Thomas has taken 4-39.

Colts batted against Newlyn and were dismissed for 79 runs, with Sebastian Walsh top scoring with 16 runs.

The wickets were taken by Michael Rice 4-13, Mark Clohesy 2-4 and Brayden Slater 2-9.

Newlyn were 5-124 in reply, the runs being scored by Ash Davidson 63 and Leigh Allen 22, while the wickets were taken by Sebastian Walsh 2-12 and Finley MacDonald 2-28.

Blackwood is in a strong position against Hepburn, scoring 243 runs.

Its better batsmen were Steve O'Brien 104, James Cann 23 and Scott Unstad 20; while Sam Winnard 5-71, Sam Conroy 3-73 and Cameron Bishop 2-38 all chipped in with ball.

Hepburn is 5-66 in reply. Brendan Hughes made 29, and Rob Whan took 3-17, Dave Salmon 1-18 and Luke Whitehouse 1-29 have the wickets.

The under-16s had a win over Newstead, which made 158 runs last week.

Daylesford was 4-180, the runs made by Robert Glenn, 52 ret., Declan Ryan 31 no, Tom Conroy 29 no and Sebastian Walsh 21. The boys are away to Guildford next week.ql
