Korweinguboora has win over Blackwood in district cricket

KORWEINGUBOORA defeated Blackwood who batted first and were dismissed for 73, the wickets were taken by Josh Watt 3/12, Chris Adams 3/21 and Josh Cowan 2/22.

Al Salmon with 35 no was the only batsman to offer resistance.

Korweinguboora finished on 2/87 with Chris Adams on 52 no, Al Salmon and Marty DeJong took a wicket each.

Colts had a win over Hepburn.

Hepburn batted first and were all out for 118, Wane Robinson top scored with 53 no, the wickets were taken by Steve Thomas 4/23, Michael Cummins 4/32 and Finley MacDonald 2/12.

Colts then had a hit and were 6/120 at the end of play. Jason Mackley 40 no and Brett Marshall 34 did well and Mitchell Elderfield took 3/42.

Daylesford U-16s

THE boys were beaten by Muckleford Maroon who made 4/171.

Zac Plant made 52 ret, the wickets were taken by Xavier Walsh 2/19, Brayden Slater 1/7,and Robert Glen 1/26. Daylesford were all out for 75, only Tim Bull stood out with 10 runs.

J Hodgson 4/15, Z Plant 2/7 and M Woods 2/7 did the damage with the ball. Next week the boys are away to Trentham.

Last week a number of cricket helmets used by the under-16s were stolen from Vic Park. If anyone has any information about this crime please contact Daylesford Police.

DDCA games next week, Korweinguboora home to Trentham, Hepburn home to Blackwood and Colts home to Newlyn.
