Korweinguboora bats fall to tight bowling

COLTS rolled Korweinguboora for 100 runs, with Steve Cowan getting 23. The wickets were shared by Michael Cummings 4/38, Steven Thomas 2/20 and Brett Marshall 2/20.

In response, Colts are 3/45 with Jason Mackley on 23 not out with Luke Adams taking 2/13.

Colts will continue the chase with the bat next week.

Newlyn has 200 runs on the board against Blackwood, which is 4/77 in reply.

Nick Smith 41, Simon Dwyer 83 and Chris Stephens 26 are doing well with the bat for Newlyn. Al Salmon 2/45 and Rob Whan 4/20 picked up the wickets.

Blackwood's runs were made by Des Hepburn 30 and Brett Sullivan 21, while Michael Rice has 2/10.

No scores were supplied in the Trentham versus Hepburn match.

Daylesford under-16

THE lads had a good win over Muckleford Gold.

They finished on 5/142 after chasing 96 runs.

Sebastian Walsh, 28 retired, Robert Glen 52 ret and Xavier Walsh 38 all did well with the bat. The juniors next game is on January 23 and training will be on Wednesday, january 20.
