ONE talented Daylesford Secondary College Year 8 student, Josh Bull, seems headed for bowling fame.
Already a member of the Daylesford Bowling Club, Josh, 13, is now also a member of the under-18 Victorian squad.
Josh comes from a long line of bowlers - his nan and pa and mum and dad all play bowls, and Josh's nan is his bowling coach.
"My mum and dad started playing a little while ago and I thought I might as well give it a shot," he said.
"It needs a lot of patience, that is for sure. It's teaching me to be patient."
Josh Bull said free coaching was just one of the advantages to working with his nan - she also came with some pretty good advice.
"She has been able to teach me right and wrong, how to do things," he said.
"It's not just a sport I play. You've really got to think where you put it down.
"The key is to concentrate that's for sure."
Josh's ambition is to represent Australia and he is hoping to play in the Commonwealth Games.
