IN THE past round of district cricket, Colts have had an outright win over Koorweingboora.
Colts resumed on 7/62 chasing Korweinguboora's 71 runs. They passed Korweinguboora's total and were dismissed for 112 runs.
Matthew Bolton 24 and Steven Thomas 24, unbeaten, stood out while Chris Adams took 6/35 with the ball.
Korweinguboora had a second hit - declaring at 4/132, with Steve Cowan 52 and Cade O'Brien 50 doing well with the bat and Finley MacDonald taking 4/51 with the ball.
Colts needed 92 runs in 24 overs. They got an outright win with a run off the last ball, making 7/93.
Jason Mackley hit 39 and Darcy Shewell with 15 was also in the runs, while Josh Watts took 3/4.
In another match, Trentham resumed on 1/60 looking to overhaul Blackwoods' 161 runs. They were 5/185 when play finished. The better bats were Dean Crewther 34, Sam Hewitt 40 and Andy Thomas 23 no. Darren Woodward with 2/33 and Dave Salmon with 2/45 tried hard for Blackwood.
In the Newlyn versus Smeaton match no scores were supplid by Newlyn.
Hepburn had the bye this past week.
In a Daylesford under-16 match, Daylesford batted against Campbell Creek Blue and made 5/214. Its outstanding batsmen were Pat Helper, 51 retired, Aidan Mill 52 retired, Lee Allen 25, Robert Glen 24 and Xavier Walsh 12 not out. The game continues next week.
