THE Daylesford and Hepburn Springs region has been confirmed as one of the best food, wine and spa destinations in Australia following the success of two businesses at a nation-wide tourism industry awards.
The Mineral Spa at Peppers Springs Retreat in Hepburn Springs won Best Destination Spa Experience at The Australian Travel and Tourism Awards.
For the second year in a row, Lake House won Best Food/Wine Tourism Experience.
Lake House was also awarded Best Fine Dining in a Hotel, Best Wine List in a Hotel and Best Boutique Hotel at the Australian Hotel Awards.
Mineral Spa manager Ainsley Cant described the win as a honour.
"It is a testament to the effort we have made to create a unique culture that brings the spirit of the spa to life," she said.
After winning four national awards in 10 days, staff at Lake House were celebrating.
