THINK PINK: Bourke Square, Daylesford, will become a mini field of women from 11am on Sunday when 100 pink silhouettes representing women diagnosed with cancer will be planted.

Breast Cancer Network Australia is holding the event nationwide to symbolise the 12,000 Australian women diagnosed with breast cancer each year and the 2700 who die from it each year.

People can buy a silhouette, write a message on the back and plant it in Bourke Square. The pink ladies will then be taken to Sydney where they will join 12,000 other silhouettes from across Australia.
