LOCAL award winning set designer, Clayton Edwards, of Design and Props, has brought the classic Narnia story to life for Children's Booktown 2012.

Visitors to Clunes Children's Booktown will walk through the wardrobe to discover an amazing world of fantasy.
"It's fantastic to be able to make one of my designs come to life for the children of Clunes.
"Now we have our own very own story chair," Mr Edwards said.
Children's Booktown will be located in the transformed Clunes Library.
The library will be alive with glistening fir trees and young visitors can enjoy storytelling from the ornate and magical storytelling chair, have photos taken or listen to stories being read.
Children's author Hazel Edwards, with more than 200 books to her name, will make an appearance at 2pm on Saturday, May 5.
Her most popular book is There's a Hippopotamus on our Roof Eating Cake. She will be available to chat to children and sign books.
Award winning children's author John Nicholson will be meeting children at 12 noon on Sunday, May 6.
Mr Nicholson writes factual books on subjects like how the Sydney Harbour Bridge was built. He's been writing and publishing books since 1990.
His books include State of the Planet and Songlines and Stone Axes.
On the Saturday there will also be a craft workshop on at 10am conducted by Marion Anderson, along with cartoon and Manga workshops with Sam Harmer at 12pm and 3pm and Sunday at 2pm.
Earl Leonard will lead music making on Sunday at 10am and 1pm.
These activities will be joined throughout the weekend with meet the children's publishers- Wilkins Farago, face painting, balloon art and the very special Punch and Judy, Professor Whatsit, with three shows a day.
Artistic director Tess Brady said: "It is important to inspire young children to enjoy reading as a pastime. We are delighted this year to be able to offer such an enchanting experience to our younger audience."
Children's book illustration demonstrations by Ann James from Books Illustrated will be at the Union Bank Arts Centre studio throughout the weekend
General entry to Booktown Festival is $5 ($2 conc and children) with toddlers free.
The entry fee buys a Booktown Badge which gives entry to all events throughout the weekend.
