EXPECT booty shaking grooves, hot country dance lines, rough-as -guts blues and sultry singer-songwriters at the third annual Hepburn Springs Folk Festival this Saturday.
There will also be a local maker's art market and nationally acclaimed country/blues band 'The Death Rattles' headlining Saturday night.
The Hepburn Springs Folk Festival has gained a reputation as an intimate summer festival celebrating talented musicians from the Daylesford and Hepburn area, and from Melbourne.
It kicks off at 12 noon Saturday at The Old Hepburn Hotel in Hepburn Springs, and festivities will continue late into the night with bonfires and midnight jams.
A family friendly event, the festival has activities for all ages, including toys, facepainting and a sandpit, and a gypsy-themed chai tent offering homemade chai tea, Turkish coffee and pastries.
Spread your rug out on the grassy paddock, bring along a picnic and enjoy the entertainment.
Tickets are $20, $17 concession, $10 under-18 and children under-12 free.
