THE former Creswick Gold Office and the Franklinford Community Hall may be restored.
Hepburn Shire Council has helped with Heritage Victoria grant applications for the two projects.
Shire heritage advisor Trevor Westmore said the council was always keen to work with the community on applications that would benefit the community's enjoyment and use of heritage buildings.
Last year the community and the shire were successful in getting a grant to restore the Clydesdale Hall, a former school building that residents were keen to make available for community use.
Clydesdale Hall president George Evans said the funding had created an amazing community opportunity.
"This project has brought the community together. We received a $20,000 grant from Heritage Victoria and another $20,000 from the State Government Small Towns Grants," he said.
"This money meant the community has been able to get stuck into the project and has resulted so far in 500 hours of volunteer labour by community members. It has been a fantastic effort and really brought the whole community together.
"We are well on the way to restoring the hall so it can be used by the community. We are now seeking some further funding to repair the roof."
