GLENLYON dogue de bordeaux breeders Michael Gondar and Donna Thompson have won back-to-back Royal Melbourne Show titles.
The pair entered their two males, A'deaus and Cyris, which won Best of Breed and Runner-Up Best of Breed, at this year's show.
A'deaus and Cyris, along with two other dogs, Bindee and Boss, also won their respective age groups.
Last year, their bitch Bronte also won Best of Breed.
The couple's website says their "love for the dogue" started five years ago when they bought their first male, Chienparadis Amos.
"We had no interest in showing or breeding and were just happy owning one of this wonderful breed.
"Well, three months later we had to get a partner for Amos and our beautiful Chienamour Amber came into our lives.
"Then came the itch to show them for the first time and after their first show, well that was it, we where hooked."
The dogue de bordeaux is characterised by the largest head in the dog world and layered wrinkles on its face and hefty paws.
Originally used for cattle droving and guarding the vineyards in Bordeaux, the breed is often known for its appearance on the movie, Turner & Hooch.
