TWO life size tipis will greet people at this weekend's annual Alternative Fair in Clunes.
Measuring about seven metres in diameter, the tipis will house animals, face painting, plaster mould painting and story telling at Collins Place.
Event organiser Anne-Maree Higham said there would be an opportunity for people to bring their animals to the tipi with communication and healing available.
More attractions will be at the Clunes Town Hall including healing, tarot readings, palmistry, ear candling, massage, clothing, crystals and gifts.
Entertainment including drumming and dancing will be held on the Saturday night.
There will also be free workshops.
Ms Higham said the fair aimed to bring people to Clunes and help out the community.
"All money raised will go back into the community," she said.
A group called CHANT (Clairvoyant healers, Artistic intuitive and Natural Therapies) are hosting the event.
The group aims to educate the community on alternative and natural therapies. It offers meditation nights by a gold coin donation.
Ms Higham said the fair was always a fun event.
It will be held on Saturday, January 20 and 21 between 10am and 5pm.
Children under 12 free, adults $5, family $15. Saturday night entertainment starts from 7.30pm and requires a gold coin donation.
