Daylesford Foto Biennale

15 Jun, 2007 12:51 AM
A DECADE-LONG exploration of water has allowed Kim Percy to explore the themes of Lake Daylesford through an exhibition as part of this year's Daylesford Foto Biennale.

Ms Percy finished setting up the exhibition, called Submerged, last Thursday.

She said what lies beneath the waters of Lake Daylesford is a deep history of culture, change, mystery and intrigue.

Her exhibition highlights aspects of the lake through time.

"From a frantic search for gold to market gardens and the creation of a recreational lake to our tenuous drought-stricken land. The works take the viewer on a journey of discovery," she said.

Ms Percy praised the Daylesford Foto Biennale.

"The Biennale allows me to show my exhibition locals and visitors," she said.
