AMARLI Seamons loves talking, cuddling, animals and her baby brother Jameson.
In fact, the bubbly three-year-old is so full of life it's hard to believe she will one day need a liver transplant.
Amarli suffers from biliary atresia, which means she was born with no bile duct.
An operation at 13 weeks joined her bowel to her liver so bile can drain out of her system, but long-term she will still need a new organ.
Amarli's mother, Mandy Seamons, said doctors predict Amarli, who has three-monthly check-ups at the Royal Children's Hospital, won't need the transplant until adolescence.
"However, the operation could stop working at any stage and that will mean a liver transplant," Mrs Seamons said.
Creswick Soccer Club players - including her uncle Warren Porter - have decided to put their best feet forward for Amarli on April 5.
A fundraising day will be held at Creswick's Doug Lindsay Reserve, featuring a jumping castle, stalls, a Fishcare information stand, raffles, a spinning wheel, CFA tankers and a sausage sizzle.
Junior Ballarat soccer players will take on Creswick's under-eight, under-nine and under-13 teams, while the under-11 side will tackle their parents.
The seniors will then face off against a team from the Queens Head Hotel social club.
The event will raise money for liver research via Yellow Ribbon Kids, the support group for families of children with biliary atresia.
Some of the money will also be used for a memorial seat at the soccer club for Amarli's cousin, Anton Erkamps-Seamons.
Mr Porter said it was the second fundraising day the soccer club had held.
Last year's event raised $2700 for Creswick youngster Lockie Blake, who had a tumour on his left optic nerve that spread to his right eye.
