THE Creswick Interpretive Centre opened its doors last week with two openings.
The first, on Friday night, saw business operators come together to have a look at the town's latest facility.
And on Saturday, the centre threw open its doors again for a community open day.
Work on the Coopers Reserve centre, built at a cost of about $800,000, started in November last year with the tender awarded to Ballarat builder Nicholson Construction.
The joint council, State and Federal government project started with the need to upgrade toilet facilities for the town.
Residents then identified that the centre and toilets were a high priority in the Creswick Development Plan.
