A MAN who was allegedly involved in a $400,000 fire that destroyed the Himalaya Bakery in Daylesford, will enter a plea when he appears in the Ballarat County Court at the end of the month, police said.

Travis John Kinseley from Kingscliff, New South Wales, has been charged with four counts of conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, two counts of burglary and one count of criminal damage by fire or arson.

The bakery in Vincent St was destroyed by fire shortly after 2am on July 7, 2004.

A Ford van, parked outside a nearby business was also destroyed, and there was damage to the Modern Day Bakery and optometrist Eyes on Vincent.

A date for Kinseley's plea is expected at the end of the month.

Two alleged co-offenders are to appear at the Ballarat Magistrates Court on March 6.
